The Caspian Sea Unites through Türkmenbaşı Seaport
Within the scope of the project “International Türkmenbaşı Seaport” constructed on an area of 1.209.400 m2, ferry and passenger terminal, container terminal, general cargo port, bulk cargo port, and ship building and repair facility are built and Ro-Ro and polypropylene terminal is expanded.
The Caspian Sea Unites
The project, which has a budget of $1.5 billion, has been planned in compliance with the Green Port standards due to its environment-friendly bird sanctuary and thus evoked great admiration of the world public opinion. As a large number of investments to vivify the historical Silk Road continue in the entire geography thanks to the brave and strong-willed steps taken by the Turkmenistan government, Turkmenistan is still on its way to becoming an international center in transportation. Turkmenistan’s International Türkmenbaşı Seaport by the seashore of the Caspian Sea is being prepared for becoming one of the rare ports of the world as the biggest one of the region. In this sense, the Caspian becomes a sea uniting the countries, not parting them apart.
A Real Bird Sanctuary
Within the scope of the seaport project, some locations on birds’ migration routes are being turned into one of the most unique bird sanctuaries of the world as a sign of GAP İnşaat’s respect for nature.
